Abstract
Within the conceptual framework of transparency as a guarantee of democracy. The aims of this research was assess the impact of the law on transparency on the corruption and democracy in Latin America. The results of comparative analysis reveal that the transparency regulation has been enacted in all countries Latin American democratic, in different periods. However, the pioneer's countries are not full democracy, neither the least corrupt.
