Abstract

The problem of model matching by state feedback is discussed. The problem of model matching represents a succint abstract formulation of many control problems in which the transmission properties of the system play the central role. A feedback realization is preferred because it is easy to implement and enables to realize more tradeoffs between conflicting performance requirements. One way to tackle the problem of model matching lies in prestabilizing the plant by a stable feedback.
