Abstract
Oxoisoaporphine derivatives have been studied through the pharmacological activity of certain cancer cell line s and in the treatment either of mood behavior or motor symptoms. Our data and other references confirm that oxoisoaporphine and its several analogues can be used as drug delivery in the administration of controlled manner of this drug against depression and, maintaining their biological qualities, these analogues have an important role in the treatment of both Parkinson's and Alzheimer's disease. Also, the medical application of organ ometallic complexes by using oxoisoaporphine derivatives against several cancer cell lines, and the formation of nanocapsules with natural or synthetic polymers that include in the core these alkaloids for treatment of mental disorder s are shown, which to make necessary to highlight the importance of studying this small group of compounds as a novel therapeutic alternative. Some examples of antineoplastic activity and MAO-A / Cholinesterase inbihitor by oxoisoaporphines are highlighted with several examples and therapeutic applications.
