Abstract

A brief synthesis of the principal ideas and basic concepts in the fractional control area are presented in this talk. Next, some recent results on stability and convergence of fractional order systems in the context of the Error Models will be presented and discussed. Finally, some applications in the engineering field will be presented such as non adaptive and adaptive fractional control as well as in the state estimation of fractional order systems.
