Personal profile
Simón Castillo Fernández holds a BA in History (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, 2002); a MA in History (University of Chile, 2008); and a PhD in Architecture and Urban Studies (Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile, 2011). He has numerous papers in peer-reviewed journals on urban and territorial history, as well as a teaching career spanning more than fifteen years at various Chilean public and private universities. He is a professor at the Center for Architectural, Urban Planning, and Landscape Studies, Central University of Chile.
