Silvio Cuneo Nash holds a PhD in Law from the Pompeu Fabra University and the University of Trento. He has been a visiting professor at the City University of New York and is currently a professor at the Faculty of Law and Humanities at the Central University of Chile. He has published several books, including: De la Guerra a los Tribunales de Drogas (2023), Abogado defensor (2022), Cine y Derecho penal (2019 y 2010), Cárceles y pobreza (2018), La cárcel moderna. Una crítica necesaria (2017), El encarcelamiento masivo (2017) and Las influencias de Cesare Zavattini en el cine chileno (2010).

Research Interests

Criminal law, criminology and sociology of punishment.
