Santiago Zárate González is a tenured associate professor in the Faculty of Law and Humanities at the Central University of Chile. He holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile and was admitted to the bar in 2001. He earned his Doctorate in Law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Valparaíso in 2016 and is currently a doctoral candidate at the University of Oviedo, Spain. He is the former Director of the Master's Program in Real Estate and Registry Law at the Central University of Chile. His research focuses on property law. He is an expert in real estate and registry law, and also teaches legal history and Roman law.
