She holds a PhD and Master's degree in Private Law from the University of the Andes (Chile); and a Master's degree in Commercial Law from the Dr. Rafael Belloso Chacín University (Venezuela). She is a professor and researcher in Civil Law at the Central University of Chile and the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile.
