Personal profile

She is an Associate Professor in the Master’s Program in Korean Studies and Deputy Director of the Center for Comparative Studies of Korea at Universidad Central de Chile. She earned her Ph.D. in Korean Studies from Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in South Korea. She is also a co-researcher on Fondecyt Regular No. 1240146, "Tracking Chilean-Asianness."

Research Interests

Her research focuses con Korean and Asian migration in Latin America, as well as the intercultural dynamics between Asian pop culture and Latin American fandom.
