David Chávez-Herting is a researcher at the Center for Research on Quality Education for Equity (CIECE) at Universidad Central de Chile. Currently Principal Investigator of a FONDECYT Initiation Project (2025–2027) on technology adoption and digital teaching competence in higher education. He holds a PhD in Psychology of Communication and Change from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona. His research trajectory integrates education, psychometrics, mental health, and media psychology, with a particular focus on the social impact of technology and interculturality.
