Personal profile

Personal profile

My main research line is the study of the astrophysical processes driving the evolution of galaxy properties by using cosmological numerical simulations. In particular, I have experience in: extragalactic astrophysics (numerical methods); semi-analytical models of galaxy formation and evolution (SAG model developer); star-formation regulating environmental effects in satellite galaxies (ram-pressure stripping, tidal striping); data engineering applied to astronomy (very large cosmological simulations); and usage and impact of artificial intelligence in teaching and research.

Research Interests

Extragalactic astrophysics; cosmological simulations; star-formation regulating processes in galaxies.
