Research focuses on stellar and galactic observational astronomy, with emphasis on photometric analysis and the study of stellar variability, including microvariability. Work addresses the investigation of variable stars in globular clusters and their role in galactic evolution, as well as the search and characterization of extrasolar planets. Additional research interests include stellar chemical evolution, with a particular focus on the Galactic Bulge.
