Personal profile
In 2021 I finished my doctorate in molecular biology in Santiago, Andrés Bello University, time during which I also worked imparting classes at the same university. My doctoral thesis was in the virology field. At the end of that year 2021, finishing my PhD, I arrived at Berking Biotechnology as a researcher in the area of animal pathogens, generating antibodies in alpacas for diagnosis and treatment. During this time, I took mentoring talks and participated in conversations with the business incubator of the Universidad Austral in Chile. In mid-2023 I moved to the University of Antofagasta to work in the area of vaccine research and, during 2024, I moved back to Santiago to the Central University of Chile as a postdoctoral researcher in the area of photodynamic treatments for multidrug-resistant bacteria.
