The main objective of the Legal and Political Theory Research Group (GITJP) is to produce high-rigor scientific research that contributes to understanding and confronting contemporary challenges in these fields, strengthening academic debate and generating critical knowledge.
The Group primarily organizes research seminars, specifically Workshops and Reading Groups, aimed at in-depth discussion of texts and theoretical problems. Furthermore, it develops other scientific activities—such as conferences, symposia, and congresses—and actively participates in the formulation and execution of research projects. Its members also produce various academic works, including articles, book chapters, and monographs. Finally, the Group participates in doctoral committees and master's program core teams.
In this way, the Group establishes itself as a nucleus committed to interdisciplinary dialogue, theoretical advancement, and academic projection at the national and international levels.
