The Research Group on Mental Health and Well-Being (GISMB) is envisioned as an academic and scientific space dedicated to research, teaching, and community engagement on issues related to mental health and well-being.

The objective of the research group is to develop high-quality scientific knowledge through rigorous studies and socially committed interventions in the field of mental health, grounded in psychological, psychosocial, and cultural approaches, and aimed at responding ethically and contextually to the emerging needs and issues of society.

The purpose of the research group is to contribute to academic and social development by strengthening the comprehensive training of undergraduate and graduate students, promoting humanized and community-oriented interventions, and consolidating collaborative partnerships with academic institutions and social organizations, in order to enhance the relevance and impact of its actions in society.
