Organization profile
The digital society, driven by the development of artificial intelligence, poses significant challenges for education and the well-being of individuals throughout their educational trajectories. Based on the above, the Center's purpose is to promote interdisciplinary theoretical and empirical studies on quality and equity in educational trajectories within the framework of a digitalized society. In this way, CIECE aims to consolidate the capacity to identify issues whose approaches substantially impact the life outcomes of childhood, adolescence, adulthood, and old age. Finally, CIECE recognizes that the exercise of effective citizenship in pluralistic, globalized, and highly technological societies requires that educational, social, and political processes serve as guarantors of quality and equity, with the aim of strengthening social cohesion.
